This interactive mixed media piece acts as a self portrait collection of myself through which I explore introspective vulnerability and the difficulty I have of trusting and opening myself to others. I play with both personal and universal symbols of shame, and how that shame manifests physically and emotionally during the process of growing up. 

Materials: Acrylic on canvas, teeth, hair, tampon fiber, dehydrated apple, journal entries, dirt, Venus figure. spiral eggs, and seeds.
